- Changing cursors, dynamic sliders, etc. from a mostly user/sometime
- programmer point of view:

- I think that forcing every programmer to do these things for eacc program
- is a bad idea. What we will end up with is every program doing them a
- slightly different way and some programs not working on some setups, and
- a general trend towards INconsistency in look & feel, which is the
- opposite point of this group. I think that implementing things should be
- as close to what GEM offers as standard, and if a program wants to patch
- out the routines and write something that affects the behaivor of all
- programs in the same way, that is the way to add features. Barring, of
- course, newer versiobns of the OS that add the support.
